Guardians of Fate walk also amongst Sleepers - three women.

The three anomalies and their partners attract special attention through their strong bonds with unicorns. They wear these also as heraldic animals on charms. One of the remaining Guardians of Fate gets fertile for a short period of time after one passes away to close the gap again after 9 months.

They guard the balance of the universe as their name indicates to limit the ploys of the demon Fate. The universe will be lost within an apocalypse if they cannot stop him anymore anymore or if all three die at the same time. The demon Fate will then initiate the era of darkness. A prophecy previsions a major fight which shall reach the decision.

Influenced by the demon Fate, the Shadow Lord tries to subdue all three Guardians of Fate or to kill them to prevail the decision in advance.
